Study Details The first major work effort in the PD&E process is the collection of available data pertaining to the study corridor. Once the data collection was completed and the needs of the corridor were determined, the County developed and evaluated the benefits and the impacts of a number of alternative improvement concepts for Hartle Road. The County estimated the potential benefits and impacts of each of the alternatives. Based on this analysis and public input gained throughout the project and during the Alternatives Public Meeting, a single Preferred Alternative was approved by the Lake County Board of County Commissioners.
