Need and Objective The PD&E Study process includes the development of alternatives based on projected roadway capacity and safety needs, identifies possible environmental impacts and mitigation opportunities and results in the recommendation of a preferred alternative. The need for the Hartle Road PD&E Study from Hartwood Marsh Road to SR 50 is based on an effort to relieve congestion on SR 50 and Hancock Road and to provide an alternate route to Hartwood Marsh Road. The existing corridor is a two lane section passing through mostly residential land uses. The study map can be found on this web site. |
