BCC Briefing/Hearing

Lake County conducted a Briefing/Hearing to present the preferred alignment to the Lake County Board of County Commissioners and to afford interested persons the opportunity to express their views concerning the alternative. Aerial photographs, conceptual improvement plans and project related information was on display for public review throughout the public hearing.

The purpose of the Briefing/Hearing was to present the findings of the study and public involvement process to the BCC and to receive approval from the BCC of the preferred alignment.

The recommended preferred alignment as presented to the BCC included two corridors, one in the north and in the south, with specific alignments within each one. The alignments are shown in more detail on the study details page. The preferred alignments were a combination of 2AA or 2A and 2G.
